Manuela and Luigi, my dentists, call me. they have this “unattractive corner” they say, and want to know if i would like to create something for it. a corner? a corner image. Michelangelo’s beautiful mirror corner work comes to my mind. i remember that there are several of them, but before i can think about it, i know what i want to suggest: MICHEL_ANGOLO (Michel_Corner)— a double homage to two great Michelangelos, one huge and one great. when i later do some research on this, i find the image linked above. i didn’t know that he even worked with a similar gesture to the giant Michelangelo in the Sistine Chapel. one more reason to suggest the work to my dentists. they like the idea. Francesca and i can now have free dental hygiene for at least 10 years.

This is the third time I have worked with these hands, which are probably the most famous in Western art history. The first work, “LA DISTRUZIONE DI ADAMO”, was created with Pam in 2011, and the second, “SPIEGEL_BILD,” followed in 2018.
