mother-ship-ahoy – for Félix González-Torres was a work produced right after Félix González-Torres death in 1996 as a black silkscreen print, 100 x 70 cm, on transparent hard plastic, 1000 copies. the prints where stacked in the galleries with 500 copies each and a free takeaway piece for the visitors as a tribute to Félix González-Torres and his “art for all”. at the same time it was visually talking about the rough sea we’re sailing in this time while renovating and transforming the old mill house (casqueiro) into the interactive studiosculpture.
